They're not all equal. Peer-reviewed articles are most highly regarded. Book chapters vary, but are almost always not considered as strong as articles. Definitely separate these out.

Are there any particular pros/cons to simply listing all publication together vs. keeping peer-reviewed articles separate from book chapters and review pieces? I have 6 peer-reviewed papers, 3 chapters/reviews, and one forthcoming chapter…if that helps determine whether to keep it all together vs. separate.
