The Department of Psychology at Montclair State University invites applications for a TENURE-TRACK ASSISTANT PROFESSOR position in Clinical Psychology to begin in September 2015. We seek applicants with expertise in Clinical Psychology, with a child/adolescent focus. Areas of expertise and research specialization are open, but preference will be given to applicants who can teach in our thriving graduate programs in child clinical psychology and school psychology.
The ideal candidate should have broad training in psychology, demonstrated excellence in teaching, evidence of research productivity commensurate with experience, and the potential to attract extramural funding. By the time of their appointment, candidates must have earned a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program in clinical psychology, or a related area. Postdoctoral experience is desirable.
Responsibilities include teaching three courses per semester at the undergraduate and graduate levels, developing an active research program, and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students. Applicants should be licensed or license eligible in the state of New Jersey.
QUALIFICATIONS: Doctorate in clinical psychology or related field.
SALARY RANGE: Commensurate with experience
