I just received a campus interview, and I'm waiting to hear back about whether I will get an invite from a second university. I have been on plenty of campus interviews in the past so I feel pretty confident going into this situation. However, I have never been in my last trimester of pregnancy. I am also diabetic as well, which makes it even more important that I have a regular snack, etc. I take insulin in the morning and at night, which I don't anticipate as having too much interference with the day's activities. My biggest concern is the snack part. In the past, I would take some hard candy to crunch on in between running all over campus, but I cannot have candy. I could have diabetic candy, but I would need a bit more of a snack than just a piece of candy. I know how I feel if I do not get my 2 hour snack after eating snack, and it isn't how I want to feel while trying to make a good impression. I do not anticipate bringing any of this up until I receive the interview schedule, but I'm wondering if this isn't the best strategy since the schedule could be created with my snack in mind. Does anyone have any advice?
