The School of Psychology (www.uea.ac.uk/psy) is the newest school at the University of East Anglia, and the first new School of Psychology to be formed in a research-intensive university in the UK for many years. Established in 2012, the School is already performing well in external measures of both research and teaching quality. These posts signal UEA’s commitment to investment in world-class research and research-led teaching in this discipline.
We seek excellent researchers to complement the existing psychology staff in the next phase of growth strategy for the School.
Applicants will be outstanding researchers (in a REF context), with experience and track records commensurate with rank. These posts are open to candidates specializing in any area, but applicants who can complement current research in the School, and/or can demonstrate that their research is at the cutting edge of psychological science are particularly encouraged to apply. We also seek candidates who can demonstrate synergies with other schools/faculties, commensurate with the multidisciplinary ethos at UEA, and the world-leading facilities the Norwich Research Park affords.
These posts are available on a full-time basis from 1 September 2015 or as soon as possible thereafter. Applicants must have a PhD or equivalent qualification or for Lecturer be nearing completion with award within one year of commencement and be able to satisfy all other essential criteria for the role.
Closing date: 12 noon on 15 June 2015
The University is a Bronze Athena Swan Award holder, currently working towards Silver.
