Hi applicants,
We're about a week out from our review deadline of October 15th. We currently have fewer than 50 applicants across our two positions — we're just outside of Vegas, so we know those are good odds! ;) so get your applications in soon!
For the Counseling/Clinical Psychology position — we are also accepted MASTER'S LEVEL terminal degrees (e.g., masters in counseling, social work, or other related field). If hired at the master's level, your rank is full-time lecturer. If hired at the PhD level, the rank is tenure-track Assistant Professor.
For the Open Area position — we really are open… we are seeking more enthusiastic teachers who are committed to working with a largely underserved student population. Check out our list of courses we offer and include the ones you could teach in your cover letter: http://www.nscpsychology.com/courses-offered.html
Other than that, the full-time faculty within psychology have all been hired within the last three years and have made lasting impacts on the development of our new college. We're seeking colleagues who prioritize teaching and are go-getters in terms of affecting change at the college-level. More about us: http://www.nscpsychology.com/faculty.html
