The Clinical Psychology Ph. D. program at Illinois Institute of Technology is seeking a mid-career/senior faculty member (tenured or advanced tenure-track) to begin fall 2016. A successful candidate will have a Ph.D. from an APA-accredited clinical psychology program; have a record of excellence in programmatic research, scholarly publication, and teaching; and be licensed or license-eligible in the State of Illinois. Area of specialization is open, but should not duplicate the areas of current clinical faculty (see https://humansciences.iit.edu/psychology/research/faculty-research-interests#clinical-psychology-research-interests). Faculty activities will include continuing programmatic research, providing research mentoring and secondary clinical supervision to clinical Ph.D. students, and teaching at the graduate and/or undergraduate level.
The Clinical Psychology Program at IIT is dedicated to a scientist-practitioner model with a balance of research and evidence-based practice. We have been APA-accredited continuously since 1982. The Department of Psychology has three scientist-practitioner graduate programs, in Clinical, I/O, and Rehabilitation, as well as a growing undergraduate program. Faculty and students work in a collaborative atmosphere both within and between programs.
