
The Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at the University of Rochester is searching for a mid-career faculty member to be appointed at the rank of Associate or Full Professor. We are primarily interested in candidates using behavioral and computational approaches, perhaps in combination with neural approaches, to address fundamental questions in subfields of perception (with some preference for vision), cognition, action planning, learning, or memory. The successful candidate will join a dynamic, collegial department with main research foci in the areas of perception & action, language, development & learning, concepts & categories, and control & decision-making (http://www.bcs.rochester.edu). She or he will also join a highly collaborative university with major new interdisciplinary initiatives in the areas of NeuroMedicine and Data Science.
