Mount Mercy seeks a non-tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor of Psychology (tenure-track status future possibility). Our major is growing and we seek an energetic, student-centered, and collaborative colleague to serve students’ needs and interests. The ideal applicant will hold a Ph.D. and support curricula in 2 of these areas: clinical, sport/exercise, counseling, health psychology. Courses taught may include Introductory, Developmental, and/or Sports Psychology, Counseling, and Personality, and advising students. Excellence as an educator is the top priority. Candidates will help develop a sport, health, and exercise psychology minor (goal to develop into major). Candidates will teach eight classes annually (online courses desired), and could have the opportunity to mentor faculty-student scholarship. Mount Mercy welcomes those of all backgrounds and is committed to excellence in education and community service. Review of applications begins November 1, 2015 until filled.
