
The University of Alaska Anchorage is seeking a doctoral-level Counselor Educator or Counseling Psychologist to fill a tenure-track, beginning-level Assistant Professor post with primary teaching responsibility in the undergraduate and MS programs. Applicants must have university-level teaching experience with a record of research and publication or demonstrated potential for research and publication. Specific courses taught will depend on the successful applicant's expertise and departmental needs but will include Theories of Clinical and Counseling Psychology and Abnormal Psychology. This position will have a tripartite workload: 60% teaching (three courses per semester), 20% research, and 20% service to the university, community, and discipline. Applicants must have a doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP-accredited institution at time of hire and be licensed or license-eligible in Alaska.
