I noticed that someone received a rejection email for the Asst Prof Diversity Science position. Does anyone know the status of the Open Rank search?

no news here, though I got an e-mail today the said applications are being processed and to fill out a survey about my gender/ethnicty
yeah, i got the same thing—which is why i posted this. i honestly thought they'd already reviewed applicants at this point.
I applied to the Asst position, but then got the same email today about the survey for the Open Rank position, so I am confused. I can't remember if I got the same survey for the Asst position.
I should also add that I too received a rejection email for the Asst position a few days ago.
I only applied at the Asst level and received the rejection email last week. Then the open rank survey this week - I didn't get a survey for the Asst level. Confusing.
I just deleted it. My assumption is that everything is complete and someone dropped the ball on their diversity surveys.
Has anyone heard about this position for the open rank? It seems like a long time since they closed submissions and hired someone for the assistant position….
The Asst level candidates talks are still the only ones listed on their website. Maybe invites have still yet to go out (fingers crossed)
Perhaps they are not listing the open rank candidates on their site in order to protect their privacy from their current jobs?
