The Psychology Field Group at Pitzer College seeks a full-time, Adjunct Professor, during the 2016-2017 academic year, with possibility of renewal for a second year. Candidates are sought with a commitment to undergraduate teaching. The successful candidate would be able to teach Health Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Health Disparities (or a seminar in the specialty area), Introduction to Psychology, and a community-based Internships class. Ability to address issues of diversity—such as gender, sexuality, disability, class , race and/or ethnicity and a demonstrated commitment to mentoring students from underrepresented groups—will be favorably considered. The successful candidate may establish affiliations with one of several Intercollegiate Departments (Africana Studies, Asian American Studies, Chican@/Latin@ Studies, and/or Women’s Studies). A PhD in Psychology is required.
