The Center for ADHD at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) announces the availability of a post-doctoral fellowship for the 2016-2017 academic year. The fellow will obtain experience in executing grant-funded clinical research, disseminating research through presentations and publications, and contributing to grant-writing activities. The fellowship includes opportunities to work on multiple federally-funded studies, with the primary research projects involving the fellow focused on sleep functioning and sluggish cognitive tempo (SCT) in children and adolescents with and without ADHD. Studies utilize a developmental psychopathology framework and a range of methodologies, including diagnostic interviewing, school observations, actigraphy, and neuroimaging. Cincinnati Children’s Hospital is one of the largest children’s hospitals in the country with a reputation for excellence and innovation in clinical care, teaching, and research. Fellowships in the Division of Behavioral Medicine and Clinical Psychology offer an apprenticeship model focused on active mentoring, career development, professional role identity, and development of skills in clinical research and care that ensures success as a scientist-practitioner.
