William Fleeson, Michael Furr, and Eranda Jayawickreme are seeking a post-doctoral scholar to work collaboratively on a study of the morally exceptional. Key research directions include but are not limited to the nature of moral exceptionality, the behavior of the morally exceptional in difficult situations, the identity of the morally exceptional, and the well-being of the morally exceptional.
Funded by the Templeton Religion Trust, this collaborative project will offer substantial opportunity to develop theory about moral psychology, to design empirical studies, to analyze data, and to write papers for publication. Methodology includes experience-sampling, informant report, experimental design, self-report, and interviews. We also interact with a broad network of interdisciplinary scholars.
