Chinese mentoring program scam?
I have received two invitations to join a mentoring program that involves meeting with Chinese students over skype 6 times in exchange a sum of money. This is suppose to provide international students with the "unique opportunity to mentor brilliant Chinese undergrads."
Has anyone ever joined one of these programs? Is it a scam? It sounds like they are essentially paying american academics to write a letter of recommendation.
