ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (CLINICAL TRACK). The Department of Psychology at the University of Georgia (www.uga.edu/psychology/) is seeking a clinical track faculty member to direct its in-house Psychology Clinic, provide clinical supervision to doctoral students, and teach graduate and undergraduate courses. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from a clinical science or scientist-practitioner model APA-accredited program, including a full-time, 1-year, APA-accredited internship, and be licensed or license-eligible in Georgia. We seek an individual who can supervise and/or teach a variety of empirically-supported assessments and interventions. Skills in program evaluation/outcomes assessment, community outreach, and information technology are highly desirable.
The Psychology Clinic www.psychology.uga.edu/clinic is the training clinic for the Clinical Psychology Program http://www.psychology.uga.edu/programs/clinical-doctoral-program which is APA-accredited and a member of the Academy of Psychological Clinical Science. The Clinic has a salaried staff of 3 administrative assistants and 5 graduate assistants supervised by the Director. Services are offered to diverse individuals of all ages from Athens and surrounding rural areas.
