The Psychology Department at Rowan University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position to begin Fall 2017. The ideal candidate will make a significant contribution to our Master of Arts in School Psychology program as well as teach developmental courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. Preference will be given to candidates with strong background in applied behavior analysis. Research area is open but experience/research in autism is encouraged.
Candidates will be expected to maintain an active program of research that is competitive for external funding as well as teach graduate and undergraduate courses. Minimum qualifications for this position include: a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited or NASP-approved school psychology program, and certification (or eligibility) as a school psychologist in New Jersey. In addition to our new Ph.D. program in Clinical Psychology with training in Health and Integrated Primary Care, the Department of Psychology offers Masters’ degrees and advanced graduate certificate programs in Applied Behavior Analysis, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and School Psychology.
