The Department of Psychology at The College of Wooster seeks a 2-year visiting assistant professor starting in the fall of 2017, with the possibility of renewal. For each year, a load consists of 5 regular courses and year-long senior thesis advising, equivalent to the sixth course. We are looking for someone who can teach some subset of the following courses: personality psychology, clinical psychology, abnormal psychology and statistics. A Ph.D. in Clinical/Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program is recommended, preferably by appointment date. A strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and research is necessary. The College of Wooster enrolls a diverse student body (19% domestic students of color and 10% international students); applicants should demonstrate their ability to work with diverse student populations.
