Keep book chapters and reviews separate or not?

I've seen variance on this when looking at other people's CVs. Are there any particular pros/cons to simply listing all publication together vs. keeping peer-reviewed articles separate from book chapters and review pieces? I have 6 peer-reviewed papers, 3 chapters/reviews, and one forthcoming chapter…if that helps determine whether to keep it all together vs. separate.

I've never seen a psych faculty CV where all publications are lumped together. They're not all equal. Peer-reviewed articles are most highly regarded. Book chapters vary, but are almost always not considered as strong as articles. Definitely separate these out.

I'd separate them out. I'd only lump them together if you had a very small number of publications, but for your situation I'd separate them out.
