Does anyone have any idea long it usually takes a committee to decide on a candidate and make an offer after they have completed all of the interviews?

Usually pretty shortly - within a week or so of the candidate leaving. Although I have seen the committee meeting vote before the last candidate has left town on more than one occasion. This is something you can ask about during your interview.

In general if you were there for an interview the committee should communicate to you a yes or no as soon as they have a decision (or maybe in the event that their first choice turns them down but they still think you are acceptable).
