Noticed there was an update on Ohio State- Newark, but I'm confused by it. Was an actual campus invite extended or is this just a reposting that interviews will take place in November?

I'm interpreting it as they got a campus invite. Guess there are several of us on here who applied :-) I had a phone interview, but then didn't hear anything. Was planning on emailing for an update, so maybe I'll do that tonight.
I heard from the search chair. They have made invites for November interviews. Indicated they may invite additional people in January/February….but I'm guessing that is just a back-up in case the first round doesn't pan out. Bummer.
Saw that someone accepted an offer at OSU-Newark - congrats!
If you don't mind, could you tell what area you are in, and a little bit about your CV?
I ask this because I applied to a few specific jobs this year (including OSU-Newark) even though I still technically have another year of my post-doc left (my advisor encouraged this because the position is flexible). I was hoping to get a better sense of how competitive I will be when on the market all-out next year - what type of things are schools of different sizes and types looking for in terms of either pubs or teaching?
And I know, I saw the post about "the competition", but still, I think this will give me an idea about what areas to improve for next year.
Thanks, and congrats again!
Does anyone know about the second position? I wonder what the "may bring additional folks in Jan/Feb" means now? Perhaps they only made one offer and will be interviewing for the second position in Jan/Feb? I'm probably grasping at straws here. I never heard anything back after my phone interview either (no campus invite).
Why would you think there is a second position? They were only going to bring additional folks in if the candidates they interviewed didn't work out. It was never more than a one person position.
Second position? I had a phone interview and never heard anything about a second position. My understand was the Jan/Feb thing was if their first interviews went south.
The ad I saw said 2 positions.
Also, now the blog is back to "offer received" instead of "offer accepted"?
Yes, the original job ad was for two positions. I'll paste it below:
