It's that time of the job cycle again: the inbox full rejection emails. Anyone getting some pretty odd/perplexing/insensitive ones this year? I'll kick things off my sharing my personal favorite thus far via email (verbatim, and in its entirety):
"Thank you for the opportunity to interview you for the $(customtext1} position. It was a pleasure meeting you. Although your credentials and work experience are most impressive, another candidate whose qualifications more closely meet our needs has been selected."
This is from an obviously malfunctioning HR robot 6 weeks after a phone interview. Saying one's credentials are "impressive" kind of loses it's meeting in a mass produced rejection email…right?
