ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF CLINICAL TRAINING - UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND AT
COLLEGE PARK: has an opening for a non-tenure track faculty member in
Clinical Psychology. The APA-accredited doctoral program at the
University of Maryland has built a clinical science program with a
strong emphasis on experimental psychopathology and empirically
supported assessment and intervention strategies. The clinical program
is a member of the Academy of Psychological Clinical Science. The
Assistant Director of Clinical Training is a 12-month position and
involves teaching graduate clinical courses and clinical supervision in
our onsite Psychology Clinic. We are particularly interested in
candidates able to teach courses in adult psychopathology and adult
interventions. This position also provides administrative assistance to
the Director of the Clinical Program. Opportunities for research are
available through collaborations with NIH-funded faculty conducting
research in a range of areas including schizophrenia and schizotypy,
addictions, mood disorders, and personality disorders. Supervision for
purposes of licensure will be available. This position is expected to
be funded for 2 years.
