I noticed that one person posted on the Wiki that College of the Holy Cross "notified people on the short list via a request for transcripts." Then another person edited this to say "1 person reported notification of shortlist via request for transcripts (despite this being specifically asked for in the application, so transcripts should have already been sent)"
I did not make either of these edits, but I know a bit about what's going on so I wanted to clarify it (there seems to be some confusion). College of the Holy Cross had indeed made a short list, but for some of those candidates they did not have their transcripts. Before an interview can be arranged, they must have all of the candidate's transcripts (a college policy). Therefore, some people on the short list were notified that the college would need their transcripts if they got an interview, so they should send them now. It is my understanding that the short list was being further shortened this week and interview invites will be made very soon. They just wanted transcripts for everyone who might be considered for interviews.
I hope this clears things up.
