I am sure there was another thread addressing this topic, but I've gone back two years in both the Advice and General Discussion forums and cannot find it, so I'm starting a new one.
I head off to an interview soon, and am curious about what to wear on the day I arrive and the day I depart. I am cognizant of the fact that it should not be my typical travel attire of a t-shirt or sweatshirt and jeans, but I also don't want to overdress. I assume whomever picks me up or drops me off at the airport would find it odd if I dressed in a pant or skirt suit for travel (but if I'm wrong let me know!). Are dark colored, trouser style jeans okay for this purpose, with a nicer shirt and a casual blazer or cardigan? Or should I rule out jeans entirely and invest in some "business casual" pants? (I don't own any khakis, believe it or not!)
I know that I'm overthinking this, but it honestly seems more difficult to figure out how to dress for these days than it does for the actual interview!
