If you are reading this post, you are likely still waiting to hear from a prospective employer or you are starting to prepare for the next round of jobs to be posted. If you have experience interviewing, you are a valuable resource to those preparing to start the process.
Considering all of the stress and preparation associated with preparing for interviews, it is likely that you were caught “off guard” a few times with some questions that you may have thought were strange. It is also likely that after the interview you thought back to how you answered those questions and wondered if you answer was considered to be “right on” or “out of left field”. You may also be wondering if there were questions posed that were just asked simply for the sake of asking a question and not necessarily relevant. You will probably never know, but we can have fun talking about it.
I would like to start a fun conversation about the types of strange or odd questions that you may have been asked and how you answered.
