ASSISTANT PROFESSOR of PSYCHOLOGY
The Ohio State University at Newark is seeking applications for two 9-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology positions, area open, to begin Autumn 2013. The Newark campus is an extended campus in The Ohio State University system and is located about 35 miles east of the central Columbus campus.
Duties: The successful candidate must maintain a productive and high-quality research program, which should: a) be theoretically driven, b) be compatible with the resources of the campus, and c) seek to involve the undergraduate psychology majors at the Newark campus. The successful applicant is expected to regularly teach Introductory Psychology, as well as, undergraduate psychology courses in the candidates domain of expertise and actively participate in service/outreach activities at the Newark campus, in the Psychology Department, and in the University. Qualifications: The candidate should have a Ph.D. in psychology, evidence of research productivity, strong teaching credentials and be committed to undergraduate education.
