The Ohio State University at Marion is seeking applications for a tenure-track position in Social Psychology at the Assistant Professor level, beginning autumn 2013. The Marion Campus is one of the five campuses of The Ohio State University and is located 45 miles north of the Columbus Campus. Successful candidate will teach undergraduate classes required for the psychology major, including Introduction to Psychology, Prejudice, Social Psychology, and Interpersonal Relationships, as well as courses in candidate’s specialty area. Candidates may also teach statistics or research methods. A balance of an active, high quality research program, teaching (four courses per year for Asst. Prof.), and service is expected to achieve tenure in the OSU Psychology Department. Qualifications include Ph.D. in Social Psychology by Autumn 2013, relevant undergraduate teaching experience, and potential to develop an independent research program that engages undergraduate students.
