WELLESLEY COLLEGE, DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY invites applicants for a full-time tenure-track position at the level of assistant professor in the area of cultural psychology, to begin July 2013. Candidates are required to have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in psychology or allied field (ABD considered). The ideal candidate would be an excellent teacher, with a strong research program that would involve undergraduate students. For this position, preference will be given to candidates who evidence a breadth of interests appropriate to a liberal arts undergraduate institution. This position involves a four course per year teaching load, at all levels of the curriculum, and will include survey courses in cultural psychology and Asian-American psychology, a seminar in the applicant's cultural psychology specialty area (e.g., emotions, development, mental health), and introductory psychology.
