Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Social Psychology at Lancaster University, UK. We are seeking to appoint a social psychologist to join a successful group that prides itself on taking a theory-driven approach to real world concerns. We welcome applications from ambitious researchers across disciplines in social psychology and social cognition, who wish to join a top 10 UK University with well-equipped laboratories housing video observation, eye-tracking, and movement capture technologies. You should be an excellent researcher with internationally recognised publications and evidence of potential for securing external research funding. You will also be able to demonstrate how your research could have a significant impact on policy and practice outside of academia over the course of the next decade. The position is available to start 1 October 2012.
