The Department of Comparative Human Development at the University of Chicago invites applications for an open tenure track first term or second term assistant professor position. The department is an interdisciplinary unit that studies the individual in context. Its members include cultural anthropologists, behavioral biologists, psychologists and sociologists. The successful candidate will have an innovative research agenda, which both complements and expands existing departmental strengths, demonstrated productivity and teaching talent. We particularly seek scholars whose research connects with more than one area of expertise within the department.
