The University of South Alabama Psychology Department invites applications for a tenure-track position in Clinical or Counseling Psychology at the rank of assistant or associate professor beginning August 15, 2013. In the fall of 2009, USA started a unique doctoral training program that combines clinical and counseling psychology using a combined-integrative model. Preference will be given to candidates whose training and orientation fit well within this model. We also prefer candidates whose doctoral degree and Internship are from an APA accredited program(s). Candidates should be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Alabama. Area of specialization is open. Candidates will be expected to maintain an active research program and be able to mentor students in our graduate and undergraduate programs.
