ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, TEMPLE UNIVERSITY: The Department of Psychology at
Temple University is seeking an outstanding clinical psychologist for a tenure-track appointment
as an assistant professor for Fall 2013. Successful candidates will need to demonstrate an
energetic program of research, with the likelihood of obtaining external funding. In addition,
successful candidates should demonstrate the potential to be effective teachers within our
graduate and undergraduate programs. Candidates should have the training necessary to provide
clinical supervision to clinical psychology Ph.D. students. Preference will be given to candidates
with a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from an APA-accredited program and who are licensed or
license-eligible in Pennsylvania. The specific area of research is open; we will pursue the best
candidate. However, candidates whose research focuses on emotion and psychopathology,
substance use, or trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder from either a developmental
psychopathology or neuroscience perspective would be of particular interest in order to
enhance our teaching, our collaborations with faculty in the Brain and Cognitive Sciences and
Developmental areas of the department, and complement the expertise of the current Clinical
