The Psychology Department at Missouri State University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Experimental Cognitive Psychology at the Assistant Professor level beginning January 2013. Application review will begin October 31, 2012, but applications will be accepted until the position is filled. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Psychology with expertise and training in cognitive psychology (area open). ABD will be considered with an expected completion by start date. Teaching experience in Experimental Psychology and Statistics at the undergraduate level is required along with the ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in cognition. The successful candidate should demonstrate a commitment to mentoring undergraduate and graduate student research and to the development of programmatic research in expertise area.
