The Department of Psychology at the University of Nevada, Reno invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in COGNITIVE NEUROSCIENCE beginning Fall 2013. Applicants should have a strong research record preferably incorporating modern neuroimaging techniques in a substantive area of cognitive neuroscience, and demonstrated potential for extramural funding. The position is linked to a newly awarded NIH COBRE grant to establish a Center for Integrative Neuroscience, providing access to a range of research and funding opportunities. In addition to a productive research program, the position requires teaching and graduate training in the department's Cognitive and Brain Sciences doctoral program and in undergraduate courses for both the Psychology and Neuroscience majors, as well as standard university service. A Ph.D. is required by August 2013 and post-doctoral experience is preferred. Competitive salary and start-up funds are available.
