The Psychology Department at California Lutheran University is seeking applicants for a tenure track Assistant Professor position in the undergraduate Psychology Department to begin in Fall, 2013. Responsibilities include: teaching a variety of undergraduate courses, supervising student research (including Honors Theses), academic advising/mentoring, participation in department co-curricular programs (i.e. Psi Chi, Psychology Club etc.), and maintaining an active program of scholarship. The successful candidate will hold a PhD (ABD considered) in Psychology from an accredited university with evidence of quality teaching and scholarly engagement, and will be a dynamic and engaging instructor.
Ability to teach courses in human cognition, research methods, and statistics is required. The ability to teach in one or more of the following areas is also highly desirable: behavioral neuroscience, health psychology, adulthood and aging.
