Tenure Track Position: The Department of Psychology invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Psychology, beginning September 1, 2013. Teaching responsibilities will be in the area of counseling/clinical psychology. Courses might include child and family counseling, crisis intervention, career counseling, abnormal psychology, gerontology, tests and measurements, and courses in areas of personal expertise or interest. Our Psychology Department consists of eight faculty members who love teaching, believe they are genuinely good at it, and have or once had a sense of humor. We are looking for an exceptional educator with the ability, energy, and intellectual charisma to be a first-rate teacher and active professional. An earned doctorate in clinical/counseling psychology or related discipline at the time of hire is preferred and required for tenure. ABDs at the time of hire will be considered at the Instructor level.
