The Department of Psychology at Swansea University has a flourishing research community with particular research strengths, as recognised by the RAE 2008 sub-panel, in cognition and perception, health and clinical psychology, and neuroscience.
We are seeking to appoint a lecturer who will be expected to undertake quality research, and we particularly welcome applications from individuals engaged in teaching and research in the following areas of psychology:
Health
Clinical
Occupational
Development
Social
Forensic
The appointee will contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in psychology, will undertake supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students, and work as part of a team committed to delivering an outstanding student experience. The appointee will also provide pastoral support for personal tutees.
Applicants should possess a PhD in psychology or behavioural science, provide evidence of research capability and competence in psychology compatible with the aspirations and facilities of the College and provide evidence of research work for publication. Experience of teaching at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level is highly desirable as is a publication record suitable for inclusion in the REF 2014.
