
A full‐time postdoctoral position is available in the Department of Psychology at the University of Toronto under the supervision of Drs. Susanne Ferber (Cognitive Neuroscience Lab) and Morgan Barense (Memory and Perception Lab). The successful applicant will be working on projects related to the question of how human perception, attention and memory intersect on a behavioural and neural level.
The successful applicant will have a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience, Psychology, or a related field, and should bring a relevant theoretical background and experience in programming behavioural experiments, and in the conduct of fMRI studies and relevant data analysis (e.g., with SPM, FSL, AFNI, etc). Experience with multivariate statistics is desirable.
The postdoctoral fellow will participate in all phases of research, including experimental design, recruitment, data collection, data analysis (behavioral and brain imaging), and manuscript preparation. The postdoc position is initially for one year, with possible renewal for a second year. Salary will be in line with University post‐doctoral stipend levels.
