Does anyone have information on any of the following searches?

No updates, but I feel like overall the Neuro searches have moved forward rather slowly….maybe that is just a side effect of the importance I have placed on finding a job this year.
Anyone know anything about the University of Nebraska Omaha job (it isn't listed on the wiki but was a Neuroscience post with either Psychology and Biology as the tenure home for the selected candidate based on which was a better fit)?
I would like to think that it is that the searches are slow and not just that they don't want to hire me! :)
Absolutely. My stomach lining is not holding up well to the stress of this process. After 7 years as a postdoc, if I can't get a job this year I may join the circus or become a carney.
Do you know anyone in the circus or carnival? Could you put in a good word for me? It's a tough economy and it's all about who you know… ;-)
Wondering what kind of jobs I qualify for in the carney industry……with a PhD, I could probably find a gig as an elephant poo shoveler but that might be the best I could hope for.
If you work with rats, you could train them to jump through rings of fire and the like. Or perhaps help with depressed elephants to optimize their performance?
Hate to tell you worrywart, but I might be applying for that job too. How many poops have you shoveled in top tier circuses? Were you mentored by a well known scooper? Have you been able to fund your own scooping in the past?
A little part of me wishes that this website weren't cloaked in anonymity…because y'all are funny.
