ENURE TRACK POSITIONS - Psychology Department
The Psychology Department at Viterbo University seeks applications for two tenure-track assistant professor positions. The department has strong undergraduate majors in psychology, addiction studies and biopsychology.
Position 1: Clinical/counseling, with preference given to candidates who can contribute to additional needs in the program including psychological testing or addiction studies. Preference will also be given to candidates who are qualified to teach occasional courses in the MS in Mental Health Counseling program.
Position 2: Social psychology - Successful candidates will be expected to advise students, engage in scholarship (including research with undergraduates), and participate in departmental activities and the university community. Occasional online, weekend or evening courses will be expected. Both positions are nine-month, tenure-track, assistant professor appointments beginning August 15, 2013.
A doctorate in psychology, clinical/counseling, or counselor education is required by the time of appointment. Preference will be given to candidates with previous teaching experience.
