Seeking to hire a tenure-track faculty member in the area of theoretical and computational neuroscience. We are primarily interested in candidates who employ theoretical and/or computational approaches to address fundamental questions regarding neural coding, sensory and perceptual processing, motor control, cognition, and decision-making. Candidates who demonstrate a strong interest in collaborating with experimentalists are especially encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will join a dynamic, collegial department whose focus is the study of learning and development, perception, motor control and cognition, through combined neurobiological, computational, and behavioral research (http://www.bcs.rochester.edu/index.html); she or he will also be part of a university–wide neuroscience community engaged in graduate and undergraduate education. Submit a CV, a statement of research and teaching interests, and contact information for three referees via website listed above.
