Seeking to hire a tenure-track faculty member in the area of systems neuroscience. We are primarily interested in candidates who employ experimental approaches to address fundamental questions regarding the neural basis of behavior. Specific areas of interest include sensory neural coding, motor control, decision-making, plasticity, learning and memory. Candidates working in both primate and non-primate model systems are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will join a dynamic, collegial department whose focus is the study of learning and development, perception, motor control and cognition through combined neurobiological, computational, and behavioral research (http://www.bcs.rochester.edu/index.html); she or he will also be part of a university–wide neuroscience community engaged in graduate and undergraduate education. Submit a CV, a statement of research and teaching interests, and contact information for three referees via the website above.
