BIOPSYCHOLOGY: The Department of Psychology at the University of Dayton invites applications for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor level faculty position to begin August 16, 2014. The candidate must be, at minimum, ABD, nearing completion of PhD, in biopsychology or a related field of psychology; PhD preferred. Required qualifications include strong teaching skills and written communication skills and a demonstrated record of programmatic research in biopsychology or a related area of psychology. Teaching experience, mentoring undergraduate and/or graduate students, and advising students from diverse backgrounds are desired. Responsibilities of the position include teaching courses in biological or physiological psychology and core courses at the undergraduate (e.g., introductory psychology, statistics, research methods) and graduate (e.g., statistics, research methods) levels as needed. Other responsibilities include advising and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students and supervising graduate master’s theses.
