Position: Assistant Professor – Research Methods
Qualifications: Ph.D. in Psychology, Neuroscience, or related field required. ABD considered if all degree requirements are completed by December 2014
The Department of Psychology at Eastern Connecticut State University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor position. Strong candidates will have a commitment to teaching excellence and collaboration within a liberal arts environment, scholarship, student advisement, and sensitivity to diverse populations.
This position requires teaching courses such as Research Methods, Statistics, Human Neuroscience, Physiological Psychology, and other courses in your specialty area. Preference will be given to individuals whose specialty area is Neuroscience. Prior teaching experience in these areas is desired. Candidates should demonstrate potential for teaching excellence at the undergraduate level, demonstrate a commitment to research, supervise undergraduate student research and internships, and will be expected to contribute to the service needs of the department and university. Space for research is limited to human subjects only.
