There are a number of jobs at Canadian Universities this year, and I wanted to start a thread where we could keep up to date with each position. To start, has anyone heard about the Waterloo Development, UofT CogNeuro, Brock Development, Queens Neuroimaging, UBC development positions? Feel free to post information about any Canadian job here!

UBC has scheduled their visits. Haven't heard from the others yet.
I applied for the Brock and Waterloo positions but haven't heard anything yet. They did state there is a preference for Canadian citizens though, so I'm not overly hopeful =)
So did UBC and at least one of their interviewees isn't Canadian. I don't think citizenship is necessarily a deal breaker.
I don't know if Waterloo has sent out interview invites yet. But I think they normally only invite one person at a time. At least I've heard that before.
Does anyone know if what Annnnnon said is true… has Waterloo sent out interview requests yet and do they only invite one person? That seems kind of odd.
I was wondering if anyone had any idea about the profile of the candidates selected for interview. First, many of the Canadian jobs were general. For example, UBC was a development position; are the candidates at UBC in infant-dev, child-dev, cognitive-development, etc… Second, what are the candidates like? Phd student, post doc, or assistant profs? Pubs? Awards? Training locations?
They seem to be infant/child cognitive development. They're listed online, so you should be able to google them.
