I know it's still early and a lot of the ads don't come out until August or later, but doesn't it seem like there are fewer ads out now than at this time last year? Are schools just running behind this year, or is it a sign that the market's going to be slow this fall?

I feel the same way as you, not_freaking_out… but I keep telling myself that it is early.
Still might be a bit early, but it is now close to mid Sept and the ads are less than half what they were last year….crap!
yeah where are all the developmental positions? Yikes.
Clinical and Neuro are doing just fine, however.
Don't people care about babies anymore?
Hate how developmental = babies to many folks. Too bad the funding also reflects this.
You'd think clinical is doing fine, but I was on the job market last year and there were approximately 100 positions posted on this wiki for clinical, now there is only 47….this is likely a lot relative to other fields, but its definitely down in comparison to previous years.
