I'm curious as to what people think where the teaching experience section should appear on one's CV relative to the publications and presentations sections if a person is thinking about applying to an R2 or SLAC (that emphasizes both research and teaching, say, a 3/2 or even a 3/3 course load). Here are the typical options (as I see it, of course):
(b) Manuscripts under review/revision (I understand that there is a spirited debate in the community as to whether this section should even be included)
(d) Teaching Experience
(b) Manuscripts under review/revision
(c) Teaching Experience
(a) Teaching Experience
(c) Manuscripts under review/revision
Option 4, 5, 6….
Also, would your answer change if…
(1) the SLAC was "slightly" (I know I'm using this term very loosely here) more teaching-orientated, say, 3/4 or 4/4 (!)
(2) your presentations and publications included undergraduate student co-authors, which I presume, will be looked favorably upon at SLAC and R2s.
